چکیده
Abstract Background Recent research has pointed out the important roles of epigenetic modifications in development and persistence allergic rhinitis (AR), especially relation to DNA methylation disease-associated genes. We investigated whether AR susceptibility genes were epigenetically regulated, modulation these response early-life environment could be a molecular mechanism underlying risk for onset cohort children aged 3–6 years China. Methods Peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) samples collected from 130 patients, diagnosed with AR; 154 matched controls detect promoter 25 MethylTarget approach. Methylation levels compared each CpG site, amplified region, gene. In addition, relationship among methylation, environmental factors assessed. Results Maternal history (P = 0.0390) pet exposure 0.0339) significantly associated increased risk. Differential analyses successfully performed 507 sites, 34 regions 17 significant hypomethylation was observed region ADAM33 patients [multiple test-corrected (FDR) P-value < 0.05]. Spearman correlation analysis revealed that higher eosinophil counts (Spearman’s ?: ? 0.187, 0.037). According results multiple regression analysis, after adjusting cofounders, interaction level 1.423 times more (95% CI 0.0290–4.109, 0.005). Conclusion This study provides evidence low increase children, between may play an role AR.

متن کاملEfficacy and safety of sublingual immunotherapy in children aged 3-13 years with allergic rhinitis.
BACKGROUND Sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) is recommended for allergic diseases. However, clinical studies containing evidence-based data of this treatment in young children, which is rarely reported in the literature, are needed. This study was designed to assess the efficacy and safety of SLIT in children, including very young children. METHODS Two hundred sixty-four children aged 3-13 year...
